Europe and the United States in one view
See where rare-earth recycling activity meets controlled material-return programs and model-supported wind assets. Precise labels, filters, acceptance conditions and evidence records are reserved for the protected workspace.
Who accepts the material — and what still needs to be agreed?
Compare public collection and purchase offers with named source-to-processor relationships. Contractual binding, physical status and annual magnet mass remain separate.
Move from scattered announcements to decision-ready market evidence
Find who is active, what each project can process, which claims are current and where regional evidence suggests the next sourcing conversation should start.
From waste signal to verified product
A qualitative pathway clarifies where each organisation sits; it is not a mass-balance claim.

Where do retired data-center hard-drive magnets go?
Compare a demonstrated Western Digital–Microsoft return pilot with the ERI–Cyclic collection partnership. The public sources show different stages, and neither discloses annual recovered-magnet output.

Verified updates preview
The current historical baseline contains 45 source-linked status records; the latest evidence event is dated 2026-09-29. This demonstrates the update model, not yet a promised publishing cadence.
Ionic Technologies
Harland Road Commercial Magnet Recycling Project · GB
Developer published submission of Belfast commercial magnet-recycling planning application; approval remains pending.
Cyclic Materials
South Carolina Rare-Earth Recycling Campus · US
ERI operator-hosted September 29 release reports strategic investment and exclusive routing of ERI rare-earth-bearing feedstock to Cyclic; amounts and annual magnet tonnage not disclosed.

Rare-earth recycling intelligence: scope and limits
What does REE Monitor track?
Public evidence on rare-earth recycling services, concrete projects and concentrated material-return signals in Europe and the United States. Each facility, program or asset is stored as a separate profile.
How are profiles selected?
We require a named circular-magnet role, primary evidence, explicit status and a decision-useful question. Public offers, process projects, controlled programmes and long-term assets are separate. Missing annual tonnage does not block a contact entry; it blocks a quantity claim.
Does a Material Return Asset mean material is available?
No. It is an evidence-ranked sourcing signal. Availability, ownership, magnet type, timing and routing must still be verified before a commercial sourcing decision.
