Interpret carefully: 96 profiles do not mean 96 operating recycling plants. The dataset includes core recycling, secondary-feed processing, pre-processing, adjacent infrastructure and historical demonstrations. Published capacities retain their original material and time basis and are not summed into a misleading market total.

Why this is more than a search result

Entity resolutionProjects, operators, locations and successor announcements share stable IDs.
Typed claimsNameplate, design target, device count, batch size and actual throughput never become one number.
Evidence historyEvery approved assertion carries a source, date, confidence and review trail.

Rare-earth recycling intelligence: scope and limits

What does REE Monitor track?

Public evidence on rare-earth recycling services, concrete projects and concentrated material-return signals in Europe and the United States. Each facility, programme or asset is stored as a separate profile.

How are profiles selected?

Every candidate passes a geographic and technical eligibility gate, a quantitative scale threshold where comparable data exists, a Commercial Relevance Score and a separate Evidence Grade.

Does a Material Return Asset mean material is available?

No. It is an evidence-ranked sourcing signal. Availability, ownership, magnet type, timing and routing must still be verified before a commercial sourcing decision.
